James Tierney convicted of larceny and sentenced to six months at the house of industry. Ann Tierney found not guilty. William H. Gallagher convicted of breaking and entering and sentenced to the state prison for five years. Manuel placed on file upon payment of costs. Cornelius O Leary and Cornelius Harrigan pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and each sentenced to the Massachusetts reformatory for one year. Michael Milles pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and placed on probation. Ann Derrick pleaded guilty to being a common night walker and placed on probation. John R. Duffy pleaded guilty to uttering and sentenced to pay $160 and costs or six months in the house of correction. James McGovern sentenced to the Massachusetts reformatory for two years for drunkenness. Samuel Hamilton and James McQuade placed on probation on a breaking and entering charge. In James Fitzgerald case, trial for assault and battery, the jury is out. John Phipps pleaded guilty to assault and John Ryan to larceny, cases continued for sentence.
