Boston and Sonora mine shows rich sulphurets and high bullion yield
The Boston and Sonora company reports gold and silver sulphurets at depths up to 240 feet with free milling ore in the upper shaft. A 10 stamp mill runs nearly nonstop and roasters will supplement the mill. The property lies in a five foot ledge between porphyritic granite walls. About 30 to 40 miners are employed, water from the shaft supports ore treatment. A specimen silver button from half an ounce of pulp yields about 5060 per ton, and Tombstone’s Ruby mine is said to mill over 100 per ton amid rising mining expo demand in Denver.
