Shea Case to Grand Jury
Patrolman Charles W. Miller of the LaGrange police faces a manslaughter charge in the shooting death of 21 year old Ralph P. Shea in a War Renton Street doorway on June 11. The case was presented to the grand jury by Captain Ainsley Armstrong with 23 witnesses heard. Miller was previously held for the grand jury after a lower court hearing before Judge Wentworth. Assistant District Attorney McIsaacs and District Attorney Pelletier presented the case.

Aviators Find Bodies in Erie Search

The Connecticut Public Utilities Commission says the June 12 Stamford wreck was caused by Enginer Charles J. Doherty's limited experience handling the Pacific type engine.
