Two men perish as cold snaps grip the Northeast with temperatures plunging to seven below in Boston and a record fifty below in New Hampshire. Rescuers struggle to reach affected areas as authorities issue warnings and shelter requests.
Frostbite victims flood local hospitals as temperatures plummet. Arthur Kingston of West Medway and Noah Kimball of Kittery Maine are listed among the dead from the extremities. Boston reports record low temperatures yesterday.
