Incendiary Fire Strikes Two Homes in Gales Yard
The first blaze started in No 21 a two and a half story frame house owned by A Curtis. Three boys were spotted near the scene and a conductor saw them fleeing toward Springfield street. Sparks from the fire set No 19 Cunningham’s fruit house ablaze and a passerby C W Hammin rescued the occupants. Firefighting water ruined contents but saved lives and horses were removed from two rear stables. An aged resident at No 17 was carried to safety by two young men.

Destructive Fire At Cambridge Lumber Yards Damages Stock
George W. Gales & Co. Cambridge lumber yards suffered a major blaze last night. A large stock was destroyed, two buildings razed, six freight cars damaged, one car destroyed. Loss estimated at 50000 dollars. Fire covered over an acre as crews fought the flames with limited initial effect before help arrived.

At 10 o'clock tonight a blaze on North Broadway 415 destroyed the five story building occupied by A B Aloe & Co. Opticians. Fireman Hynes was seriously injured after falling from a ladder. The salvage crew's collapse trapped four men Reino Miller James Roddy James Glenville and Henry Kirby with no hope of rescue. Loss estimated at 200000 with ample insurance.

Will Drill Armenians in Lynn Colony Plan
In Lynn on January 21 a leading Armenian colony member described a practical campaign plan to invade Turkey.
