Harvard Overseers Vote On Appointments And New Professorship

At an adjourned meeting of Harvard College overseers yesterday the board voted to concur with the president and fellows in the election of Edward Laurens Mark as professor of anatomy and William Lambert Richardson as professor of obstetrics. It also agreed that a Peabody professorship of American archaeology and ethnology be established in the University and that the vote be communicated to the president and fellows.
