Baseball seat for a quarter at Fenway games

Mayor FitzGerald announced that baseball seating at Fenway Park will be priced at a quarter for the upcoming American League season. The plan aims to expand access to Boston fans and boost attendance for league play.

Boston Americans plan cheaper Fenway seating this season

The Boston Americans will leave the grandstands from the world series when built and charge only 50 cents for admission. The Mayor said officials including President McAlear and John S. Mc Ginn Named Captain Of Boston Latin Nine

Richard F. Mc Ginn was unanimously elected captain of the Boston Latin School baseball nine for the current season at a meeting of last year’s members. A third year man, he has played two years for the Latin team, previously as a substitute catcher and last season as the regular backstop. The election follows Arthur Wholley’s withdrawal from Latin School after being chosen captain last June.

Augustus Comeau, who escaped Charles street jail about three months ago, was yesterday returned to his former cell. Seen reading a Windsor Locks newspaper, he said he wished to be back in jail.
