Alexander Dewar, night watchman for the New Haven road, was shot and dangerously wounded by a prowler last night at 8 near the South Bay tower at the junction of the Midland and Plymouth divisions. Nearly a dozen policemen hunted the yard and guarded terminal outlets as they searched for a 25 year old man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, stout, wearing a black overcoat and derby hat.
