Pigsty Watch Successful in Watertown Theft Case
Patrolmen James Burke and John Clifford hid in a pigsty through cold nights to trap Edward Murphy who, homewardless, was sentenced to one year in the house of correction for larceny of four pigs. Murphy, an alleged robs of hen roasts and pigsties, was found on Belmont street November 13 and had prior hen theft convictions.
