About 12 000 garment workers in Boston plan a general strike after a mass meeting at Faneuil Hall. They announced demands to cloak waist and skirt manufacturers next Thursday or Friday for higher wages better sanitary shop conditions and abolition of sweat shops and child labor under legal age.
