A cablegram from H H Griffin reports Charles Jarrott claiming motor champion status has sailed to America seeking a match race with an American rider. Owen Wimble will manage Fountain Ferry track for the season backed by an Indy group led by Fred Voisht. The track opens training March 11 with the first meet May 6.

McCoy Beats Choynski In Short Three Round Bout

Tufts College Athletic Association held its winter business meeting in Goddard Chapel. Harry C. Turner, 1901, was unanimously elected manager of Tufts 1900 football team and Richard Bradford Coolidge, 1902, of Woodfords Maine, was chosen assistant manager.

Boylston Wins City Big Pin League Championship

National Skating Meet Set for Newburgh Dates

The National Skating Meet will be held at Downing Park Lake in Newburgh January 26 and 27 under the Newburgh Wheelmen. Allston Club Bowled Badly as Maugus Wins Narrow Series

In Wellesley Hills on January 12 the Allston Club lost to Maugus at their alleys two games to none in an even three game set. Maugus finished strong with a perfect last string and led by scores of 721, 826, 845 for a total 2 292.
