Springfield January 7 fears grow that the burned man in the Mittineague railroad wreck last Tuesday is Fred Hamilton a young Waltham watchmaker who left for Pittston New York two weeks ago and was due back the day of the crash. Conductor shown Hamilton photo thinks he is the victim and train men are ordered to a Boston hearing tomorrow at 10 o clock before the railroad commissioners.
The Delhi express on the New York Ontario Western railroad struck a broken switch near eeriily's flouring mill, one mile from Alton, derailing and partly demolishing the mill. The forward car was stove in but passengers escaped with minor injuries. Loss estimated at 75000 dollars.
