Fate of the Force Bill Hangs on Senate Tactics
Republican leaders in the Senate plan a caucus to arm a committee with watchful attendance, aiming to pass the election bill. If blocked, a continuous day and night session may be tried to wear down Democrats, with cloture only after other methods fail. The move highlights divisions over Hoar’s approach and potential party responsibility.
