Born in Burbage England 81 years ago she lived with her son 27 years and leaves one sister in Montreal. Funeral Saturday 2 p m at 9 Adams street burial Wildwood Cemetery Winchester. $230,000 Gift at New Years

David D. Stewart of St. Albans Vermont inherited Levi M. Stewart's estate in Minneapolis and donated $230,000 in New Year gifts to 12 Minnesota colleges hospitals and charitable institutions. Nine gifts are in Minneapolis. No restrictions were placed on the gifts. In the past year Stewart gave away about $620,000, mostly to Maine churches colleges and charities.

Fire at Dexter Planing Mill Halts Firemen in 10 Below

In Dexter Maine a blaze at the Eldridge Brothers planing mill was fought only after hydrants thawed by bonfires as the temperature stood ten degrees below zero. Firemen, encased in ice, escaped with an estimated $10,000 loss.

South Boston Municipal Court Moves to New Building

The South Boston Municipal Court will relocate from Dorchester and Fourth to the new Municipal Building on Broadway near G Street in the coming days. Plans call for the first session to be held Tuesday morning, with Superintendent Fish assuring readiness.
