The Boston Opera Company presented Meyerbeer’s The Huguenots at the Boston Opera House under Conti. An all star cast featured Madame Bronskaja as Marguerite and Madame Boninsegna among a strong lineup. The piece impressed with vocal craft and dramatic momentum though noted as largely empty and dull in parts.

Littleton plans to prove charges against Conger and Moe
The defense shows its hand and promises to prove that Conger's charges and Moe's support are untrue. It will claim Allds acted under orders from Senator Platt in 1903 to block legislation favoring bridge companies. It also asserts Conger's statements are unworthy and that many of his witnesses are equally untrustworthy due to connections with corrupt corporations that “laid a trail of slime over five States.”
