Mrs. Kate Sampson, the half aunt of Hattie LaBlanc, testified in East Cambridge Probate Court that Lillian Marie Glover said she would kill Clarence F. Glover. Her testimony, incomplete at adjournment, stunned the attending attorneys handling the will.
In a Philadelphia court Mrs Sampson testified after lawyers sparred over questions about Mrs Glover. She said Mrs Glover visited Auburndale in March 1909 and discussed her husband Clarence, declaring she would buy a revolver and kill him. She also described meeting Attorney Tufts in East Cambridge jail. Continued on Page 18-First Column. Continued on Page I-Fifth Column.
Philadelphia reports close estimates of deaths, injuries, car burnings and wrecks, broken windows, arrests, and estimated property and cash losses from the five day strike. The figures summarize the scale of violence and disruption across the city.
Medford reports the death of Amos F. Dolbear a Tufts physics professor inventor of several telegraph and telephone devices. He claimed credit for the telephone and fought related patent suits. Survived by wife five children with funeral at his home and memorial at Tufts.
Women packed Ford Hall and filled the State House last night demanding votes for women. An army of over 2500 heard Teresa A. Crowley accuse the hearing of housing foes of woman suffrage as they pressed for ballots headed toward equality and reform.
Robert Luce opposed to votes for women faced hisses as he argued against extending the franchise. Margaret Dooley and Katherine Conway read letters supporting opponents. A large crowd packed the State House hearing, with hundreds admitted by delegations and the committee hearing petitions and remonstrants from 7:30 to 11 o'clock.
In the House of Commons Premier Asquith stated definitively that the government has no plan to introduce a home rule for Ireland bill in the present session. The remark caused a sensation amid tensions with Nationalists who had supported Liberal home rule promises before the election.

In Watertown a 17-year-old James O'Brien was strangled by 25-year-old Harpoot Gagarian after a dispute over a jest. The killing occurred in a double house on Elm and Arsenal streets. witnesses included 14-year-old John O'Brien and 14-year-old William Dean. Gagarian was taken to police. no charge filed yet. Witnesses say red pepper sprinkled around beds contributed to the dispute.
Federal officers search for George W. Coleman a $12 a week clerk charged with embezzling 144000 from the bank nearly half its assets. He has been missing since Friday. Harvard president emeritus Dr Charles W Eliot is a shareholder liable for up to 2000. Of 64 shareholders 22 are women. Coleman is 24 and fled with the funds.
In a Chelsea blaze at 140 Broadway a 4 month old and a 112 year old child were rescued from suffocation by Patrolman John M. Bartley and Robert C. Renfrew. They broke doors to reach two unconscious youngsters on the second floor crib and revived them on the street. The fire started in Firman Sachs store below. upper rooms housed Stanley Pealaska and family.
Coleman, treasurer for the Kissel Kar Kompany Boston agency, manipulated two accounts to steal via checks cashed at National Shawmut Bank. He altered statements and misrepresented deposits to cover the thefts while using the big accounts as a shield. Depositors now demand responsibility from bank managers after the collapse of the scheme.
