Hearing on vestibule requirements for street cars debated

The committee on street railways discussed bills to enclose car platforms during certain months. Representative Cullinane of Lawrence argued the bill is practical and protective, though it would not force existing cars to add vestibules. Supporters include Rev. George S. Perin who urged public safety and questioned leaving the matter to railroad commissioners, with backing from Rev. A A Berle and Rev. W H Allbright.
