Fire engine horse dragged on icy street in South Boston
While responding to a fire alarm on A street South Boston yesterday afternoon one horse of Engine 2 slipped on ice on West Broad way near D street and was dragged about 60 feet before another horse stopped by Hoseman William Donovan of Congress street company. The injured horse escaped with mud and scratches. no serious harm reported.
