Albert Jackson a 15 year old of 17 Elm Street Dorchester saved two boys from icy water 25 feet deep at the Freeport Street bath house. He and his brother pulled 8 year old William McLaughlin to safety and then attempted to reach 10 year old Eugene Lynch. The ice cracked under him as he moved onto it.
Industrial Workers of the World leaders in Lawrence plan a free speech campaign in Manchester New Hampshire between Monday and Saturday night this week. John J. Balam, former California Socialist organizer and Pacific coast IWW leader, arrived in Lawrence and boasted of the venture.
Mrs. Georgia Mayo Stewart, friend of Arthur W. Shaw the absconding Freeport shoe manufacturer, is not under Boston police surveillance and is free to come and go. no official communication on her relation to Shaw, nor creditors’ appeals, have been received.
The British steamer Cuban arrived in Liverpool with nine crew members from the wrecked Erne after a heavy storm at sea.
