Accident off Long wharf involves tug and power boat

A tug struck a small power boat off Long wharf near 6:30 as the Zetes neared Congress street bridge. The crash sent the power boat into the water but it did not sink. three people aboard clung to icy waters until rescued. The Croscup brothers, veteran Lynn harbor pilots, were aboard and had been living in Boston recently.

Girl of Six Is Found After Missing Near Hyde Park

A six year old girl named Helen Summer, a Fairmount School pupil at Hyde Park, was found near the Blue Hills by cab driver Annie Hickey. She was taken to Readville police, then Hyde Park station, and later sent to the Chardon Street Home after searches failed to locate her parents.

Ice cake sweeps three boys in Dorchester Bay rescue

A large ice cake broke from an ice floe in Dorchester Bay yesterday afternoon and carried three South Boston boys out into the stream. They were saved by Lewis George, janitor of the Mosquito Fleet Yacht Club, preventing them from being carried toward the harbor and out to sea. One killed and another injured by switcher in yard

One man is dead and another critically injured after being struck by a switching engine in the Exeter street railroad yard yesterday afternoon. The deceased is Dominick Saturas. Dominick Fanaroter, 25, is at City Hospital with a fractured left arm and internal injuries.
