Intelligence from Vienna reports Oswald Winternitz, two years on the Boston Post staff, died at his father's home on January 27 from pneumonia with inflammatory rheumatism. A rapid stenographer and reporter, he left Boston for vacation last June planning to stay abroad after securing a job with Vacuum Oil in Vienna.
