The fishing schooner Genesta arrived at T Wharf bound harbor despite a heavy ice coating that buried forward decks seven inches. The spray froze high in the rigging and the foresail halyards had to be cut to lower it. Dense fog and vapor delayed vessels including the Manomet which lost its main topping lift in a fierce northwest gale.
