In East Cam bridge Probate Court yesterday a will contest turned into a murder inquiry as Hattie La Blane testified about Glover's killing. Attorney Samuel D Elmore described the discovery of La Blanc under a bed and related police station questioning, with a judge ruling on cross examination.
In a crowded courtroom Mrs. Clarence F. Glover attended as Attorney Elmore described the search for a Hat tie at the Glover home. He admitted cautioning discussions of the case and called himself the lady's legal adviser while offering help with fees.
A 28 year old passenger from Waterville Maine named John Moorey was found on top of a Montreal express carriage clinging to life after a 36 mile open trackage ride from Lowell to Boston. Conductor Curtis F Carr and crew pulled him to safety at Lowell. He suffered a crushed head and severe injuries believed from the train passing under a bridge.
Fire in Sunook NH wiped out the Hayes Opera House block valued at 30000. The blaze ruined Greer piano shop Blanchette grocery and Dudevois pool room in a two and a half story brick building. Cause undetermined but traced to Greer’s shop with help from Concord not needed.
JOPLIN Mo February 7 A B Cockerill president of the A B Cockerill Smelting Company one of the largest zinc smelting concerns in the United States said tonight that bondholders have controlled the company for the last four days and that a formal assignment is expected tomorrow
A fire of suspicious origin swept three cottages to ashes along Revere's beachfront last night. High winds carried embers for hundreds of yards and threatened a broader fire, but the fire department saved the town from a major conflagration in freezing temperatures.
A rear fire at Dr. Stewart’s unoccupied cottage on Waban Street Somerville left three adjacent unoccupied cottages destroyed. Fire origin unknown as crews faced hydrant distance and bitter cold delaying water delivery. Each cottage valued about $600 and residents feared spread to nearby homes for 30 minutes.

Mrs Dora Shea 104 died at her grandson William Crohn's home on Bellflower Street South Boston yesterday. If she had lived until March 28 she would have been 105. Survived by grandsons Benjamin Drohn and W L Drohn and six great grandchildren John James Benjamin Jr Anthony Agnes Marion Drohn. Relatives recall her Easter birthday Gaelic songs and stories of old Ireland.
