Citizens Association forms for Cambridge mayoral race

About 150 Cambridge men attended the first Citizens Association meeting at Board of Trade Hall in Central Square. Dr. Charles W. Eliot endorsed the movement, Judge Charles A. MacIntyre presided, and the group declined forming an alliance with the Young Men's Progressive Municipal party. A 25 member committee was chosen to report plans at the February 2 meeting.
