The managers of Parker's Young's and the Touraine agree to close their bars tomorrow and keep them closed until they obtain permission to reopen. They state they do not wish to defy District Attorney Moran and will maintain closure indefinitely.
In Salem a hearing on the Chase will includes testimony that Mrs. Jennie P. Chase asked lawyers to draft a new will disinheriting her husband Dr. Horace P. Chase and that she spoke of forced adoption of De Forrest Chase. Lawyer Chick testified she feared Dr. Chase would kill her if he knew of the new will.
