English plan to break up Irish land league amid outrages

Panic in a Warsaw Church Leaves Many Injured

A Warsaw church panic occurred when a pickpocket cried fire during high mass at the Church of the Holy Cross. Twelve women died and forty were seriously hurt as crowds rushed the doors. The culprit was beaten. riots followed with Jewish shops gutted and policemen injured. The authorities patrolled the disturbed areas.
