Militia Called Out After Disturbance in Cornwall

A riot among West Shore railroad laborers in Cornwall, New York, led to Italian offenders and an Irish laborer being stabbed. Sheriff Odell sent 17th battalion troops with rifles to Cornwall. six prisoners were arrested and jailed in Newburg. Hearings set for riot and assault with intent to kill.
