New World Strength Record by Greek Student at Penn

Michael Dorzias, a Greek student at the University of Pennsylvania, set a claimed world strength record with 1890 kilograms on standard testing machines at the university gym. Dr. R Tait McKenzie witnessed and called him the strongest man in the world. earlier Dorzias set a Pennsylvania mark and an inter-collegiate record of 1774 kilograms. Beebe Star of Carnival Shines in Boston YMCA Meet

An athletic carnival at the Boston Y.M.C.A. gym under Huntington School saw J. H. Beebe win four firsts in track events including the 56 and 220 yard dashes the 440 yard run and the shot put.
