Swift Named Reporter of Decisions for Supreme Court

Governor Crane, on the Supreme Court's recommendation, nominated former U S Marshall Henry W. Swift to be reporter of decisions, succeeding George F Tucker, with Jan 1 1901 as the start. Swift, a former harbor and land commissioner, will begin duties at the January session and noted his experience in reporting cases and editing the Massachusetts Digest.
