Wilson to Take Three Weeks Vacation After Currency Bill

President Wilson will take a three weeks leave after signing the currency bill, likely Monday or Tuesday, and travel to a quiet Gulf coast spot near New Orleans with his family. This will be his longest absence from the capital since his inauguration, as he recovers from grip and continues a heavy workload. The diplomatic reception and White House social calendar will be postponed or revised, and Wilson helped plant the "Wilson Elm" in front of the White House after an automobile ride today.
