152 Franklin Pressmen Strike For Higher Wages

The Franklin Association junior pressmen helpers and press feeders declare a new wage schedule rising from 10 to 12 dollars per week. About 152 of the 560 members walked out at 10 AM after most firms granted the raise to others. Several firms earlier agreed, and a Master Printers' Association meeting next week will decide final action.
