Boston & Albany declares higher dividend and bonds plan

Boston and Albany stockholders will receive an increased quarterly dividend of 2.25 dollars per share, funded by revenue from New York Central bonds. The board also seeks authority to issue 2.5 million dollars of 3 1/2 percent bonds to finance East Boston improvements, with contracts aimed by April 1, 1901.
