Saved family Brighams of Waltham escape gas poisoning

In Waltham on December 11 the Brigham family narrowly escaped fatal coal gas exposure from a furnace leak. Four members slept through the danger until 14 year old Frank woke the household and alerted neighbors. Dr. Cutler treated the family, with Mrs and Mr Brigham in dangerous condition but likely to recover. The father, a Civil War veteran, is about 64 and the family resides at 88 Warren Avenue.

Brookline Fire Dept Seeks Luck After Mistaken Alarm
