Land deals set to civilize Indians with large land grants

The 1888 report outlines two agreements with Minnesota Chippewas and the Red Lake band. White Earth and others receive reservations to be allotted to individuals with 50-year trusts and eventual fee patent. Dr Aveling Sees Rise of Socialism in America

Nailor Arrested in Edgeworth Liquor Nuisance Case

Police discovered hidden pipes and barrels of strong ale at Thomas Nailor's Thatcher street home in Edgeworth after a long notice of liquor sales. Chief Richards and Officer Sullivan retrieved two barrels of hop beer and, beneath a cordwood trap, two more barrels with a subterranean faucet. Nailor faces arraignment in District Court.

Bland forecasts Indian Territory becoming an Indian State
