Caught with Booty Arrests in Rox Cross Robbery Case

Two youths, John Tumilty aged 19 and Feeley aged 22, were arrested early yesterday morning by Station 10 officers as they emerged from the People’s Loan Office at 1219 Tremont street with a small bundle. Police accuse them of breaking and entering Tremont street market on December 3 and Pilesky’s store on November 15, and link them to a gang blamed for months of thefts in the district.

Holy Ghost Hospital concert aids free bed fund in Cambridge

Last night at the Parkeatre a public concert raised about $1000 to cover expenses for Holy Ghost Hospital for Incurables Cambridge. About 150 admissions were sold, and the program featured recitations by Otis Riley and others, music from the Melba Ladies Quartet, the Strakosch company, plus instrumental pieces and a dialogue. Bay State Gas fight moves to receivership in New Jersey

In New York on December 9 the Bay State Gas Company again becomes the focus of litigation as J Edward Addicks of Boston and Delaware and Henry H Rogers of Standard Oil interests face court action. Judge Kirkpatrick of the U S Circuit Court at Trenton appointed Henry Kelsey former New Jersey Secretary of State as receiver for Bay State Gas Light Company of New Jersey on the application of Charles Blodgett of Hartford who owns bonds and rust certificates. Though Addicks’ name does not appear in the receivership, the move is viewed as his involvement.
