Underwriters hand first defeat in Insurance League

In last night’s Hub matches the Board of Underwriters defeated George QO. Carpenter & Son in the final round. Wedger led with 243, while R. A. Roxbury Boy Arrested for Larceny Amid Eccentric Spending

A 13 year old Roxbury youth Allen M Potley of 161 Warren street was arrested by Inspector Gaddis on charges of stealing $88 from Charles E Savell at 149 Warren street on November 29. He spent the money on riding lessons at Haley's academy and visits to theaters while claiming a dying grandfather left him $10,000. His well respected parents knew only of truancy.

The National Trotting Association board in executive session in New York expelled John Ramsey and James O'Brien of Boston for false entry in Dr. D. and suspended others.
