Saywoman Kidnaps Own Child Sparks Probate Court Case
Frank Foye of 105 Winslow Avenue Norwood reports to Norwood police that Gertrude Salter Ames of Walpole abducted her four year old son Louis Clifford Salter from the Foye home where he has resided for two years. Ames seeks legal permission from the Norfolk Probate Court at Dedham to take the boy. Judge Flint heard the matter and reserved decision. Pending rulings Ames took the child from the Foye residence. Ames, formerly of Norwood, married Clinton D. Ames of Walpole last summer and has long wished to have her youngest child with her after remarriage.
