New York dispatch reports about $30 000 in life insurance on Mrs. Ocey W. M. Snead whose death in the East Orange bath tub remains unsolved. Police seek the missing husband and mother Mrs. C. B. W. Martin noting possible forgeries.
The victim's aunt Mrs Virginia Ward law is held pending a decision if a note found on the body was written by the victim. Police say the note announcing suicide was too neatly composed for a starving desperate woman. Writing samples from many women under suspicion are being collected. Continued on Page 4 Fourth Column.
A telegram to the Boston Post reports a strike incident with a shot fired at police during a small riot. The message notes the State Board may settle the dispute and includes gratitude from the Springfield Central Labor Union for a $100 aid donation.

Fay Athol Dec 4 The Athol post office was broken into at 1 30 am and about 4000 stolen from the safe after robbers bound and gagged Night Policeman Frank W Bannon and locked him in the town lockup. Harry King express messenger was bound and gagged and left in the street. A posse pursued the safe-blowers who escaped toward Orange.
The crowd roars inside the hall as James J. Storrow, touted as the next Mayor of Boston, is escorted to the front. Storrow mounts a table, is helped down by Jim Donovan, and thanks supporters for a cordial reception while delaying his speech on campaign issues.
John J. Gardner a laborer on Hyde Park avenue near Ashland street risked his life to warn colleagues as a 300 pound boulder slid toward them Gardner pinned the stone with his hands and prevented a deadly crush then pushed it free and was injured though rescued by three coworkers He was treated at City Hospital and later discharged to his West Roxbury home at 37 Grove street
Adolphus Busch of St Louis has donated $150 000 to Harvard to aid the construction of a new Germanic museum. The gift, promised earlier and received by the Harvard secretary, will accelerate work on the building's start.
