London December 3 A Pretoria despatch to Reuters reports General Christian De Wet the rebel leader in the Union of South Africa has been captured by authorities.
In Detroit on December 2, Speaker Champ Clark was escorted from the platform during a Detroit Board of Commerce talk. About a third of the 1000 attendees, mostly women, left before he spoke for 29 minutes. Secretary H Gitchell tried to call him off, but he did not listen.
