Chauffeur Dies Pinioned as Auto Unplunges Near Montpelier
An automobile carrying Mrs. W. G. Ross of Montreal and passengers from Bretton Woods to Burlington plunged down an embankment near Montpelier Vermont. Authorities and state detectives search for three killers in a Unionville murder. A straw hat with Boston address and a New York belt hint at outside involvement. A Hartford trolley conductor saw the victim with three foreigners last Tuesday afternoon. Medical examiner Ripley cites a neck gash as fatal with a rusted razor found nearby. no blood on it. The body, found by a track walker near the Northampton division of the New Haven railroad, lies 30 feet from the tracks. The victim, dead about two days, bled to death from the neck wound.
