In Brockton three about thirteen year old boys became intoxicated and were nearly killed when they were thrown from a team. The incident stunned the town as authorities investigated the near disaster.
River shark attack alarms Seekonk swimmers
While swimming in the Seekonk river Rhode Island a youth wearing a companion’s overalls was seized by a shark after entering the water. The cloth tore and the swimmer escaped badly lacerated and exhausted reaching shore. Sharks are sometimes seen there this season but never before attacked.
