Cotton Markets End Quiet Low as Prices Fall
The cotton market closed quiet with a drop of 85 points. Sales reached 800 bales and stocks at Atlantic ports stood at 485,020 bales while six day port receipts totaled 41,723 bales. Liverpool futures slipped across the curve with August near 18.70d and May-June around 16.66. Spot cotton showed minor gains on a 19.97d basis.
