Immigration Investigating Committee to Leave for Boston
Washington August 18 The immigration investigating committee led by Chairman Ford will depart New York Monday after four weeks there to take testimony in Boston then return to Washington to finalize the evidence for printing and a planned bill. The group will tour Philadelphia and the Pacific Coast during recess and back the bill they expect will remedy the current evil. Mrs Logan disputes a $60,000 mortuary chapel cost for General Logan remains clarifying the correct figure at about $6000.
