Goodyear Tires See Unprecedented Demand and Expansion
The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company reports record daily output at its Akron plant of about 25,000 tires and over 2,000 at the Canadian plant. A Los Angeles expansion is planned to add several thousand more daily tires as demand remains high. The note credits product quality and service for the surge and urges service stations to teach proper tire care and the use of Goodyear Tire-Savers to extend tire life and mileage.
