Pittsburg, Penn. Aug. 12 Magistrate W D Mansfield sentenced five men and one woman, I W W organizers and all foreigners named, to the workhouse for refusing to pay fines for violating a city ordinance. He called them a fine looking lot to educate American workingmen.

Girl Dies in Guilford Wagon Accident

Miss Irene Adams of New York died after a farm wagon overturned in North Guilford during a woodside turn. The 23 year old was riding with others. a stone struck her head, fracturing her skull. She vacationed with her father, a New York police officer.
