Mystery deepens as woman takes lost child away

A four year old boy known as Frankie was claimed from the Chardon Street Home by a woman identifying as Mrs John Mc Farland of 35 Hollis Street Boston. The couple say the child was left with them in Dover New Hampshire by a woman named Mrs Owens of Manchester New Hampshire. The boy was found wandering by police in Roxbury and later taken to the home. The Mc Farlands and Mrs Owens dispute ownership and plans for the child remain unsettled. The lodging house keeper at 14 Davis Street reports the pair arrived with the boy a week earlier and often left him unattended.
