Claim girl is insane in Moore suit over Boston socialite
In Sherborn a $50,000 suit by Jessie B. McLellan of Boston against John B. Moore, the town's wealthiest resident, is said to hinge on claims McLellan is insane. Witnesses describe a revolver taken from her at the Moore home and alleged attempts to shoot Mrs. Moore. Moore sought to have her committed to an asylum, says a physician, while McLellan asserts Moore deceived her about marriage, then moved her to Sherborn and controlled her at the Clark grocery store.
