In North Easton on July 31 Miss Grace Harlow 23 daughter of Mr and Mrs Hugh Harlow of Main Street saved 12 year old Grace McMullin at Longs Pond before suffering a heart failure and sinking. Frank Maliff pulled the body from the water as bystanders watched.
Miss Catherine Harlow and her twin sister were unable to escape rising water in a Bristol county incident. Catherine died from heart failure and drowning while rescuers were unable to save her sister. The victims’ family includes Leo Harlow a prominent Bristol county lawyer and former representative.
