Mrs May Elizabeth Douglass 38 hanged herself in the kitchen at 245 River Street Cambridge after a husband and son heard threats during a Sunday night quarrel. The couple argued from Saturday about intoxication. the husband and others attempted to intervene as she prepared a noose and used a rope to end her life in the cellar. Her brother and mother were in the home, unaware of the fatal act until after.
