Paris April 29 The peace treaty may wait on Italy and Japan as Premier Orlando is not expected to return to meet German delegates. Baron Makino of Japan remains in Paris as talks continue without a clear return date.

ROME April 29 The Chamber of Deputies voted confidence in the cabinet by 382 to 240 with the socialists casting the 240 votes. The result follows a vote by the chamber in Rome as reported by the Associated Press.
